Mom McQueen's Pecan Roll

Instructions

   In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and milk.

   Cook to the soft ball stage, stirring occasionally.

   Cool, then beat until candy loses its gloss.

   Knead fondant until cool.

   Shape into two 1 1/2" rolls.

   Roll or cover with soft caramel and roll in chopped or whole nuts.

   Cover with plastic wrap.
