Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°. Butter and flour cake or jellyroll pan.

  2. Cream oil and sugar. Add eggs, beating after adding each one.

  3. Beat in cocoa powder.

  4. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to batter alternatively with milk.

  5. Add vanilla.

  6. Stir in nuts.

  7. Bake for about 30 min. or until done.

  8. Frost with chocolate frosting while still warm for a chocolate glaze. Sprinkle nuts on top.

  9. Or, frost while cool with frosting of your choice.
