Fresh Apple Cake
Instructions

Preheat oven to 325°.

Grease an angel food pan (with a removable bottom) and instead of flouring it, coat the inside with sugar.

Use parchment paper on the bottom and grease, add parchment paper, grease and sugar.

Beat together sugar and oil on high speed for 1 minute.

Add eggs, one at a time and beat for 1 minute after each egg addition.

Sift together dry ingredients.

Add dry ingredients to batter and beat for 1 minute more.

The batter should be very stiff.

Fold in vanilla, apples and nuts.

Bake at 325° for 1-1½ hours.

Let it mostly cool before removing it from the pan.

Slice a knife around the edges of the pan before removing it.
