Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.

  2. Carefully melt chocolate chips.

  3. In a large bowl, cream together brown sugar and butter.

  4. Beat in eggs.

  5. Mix in almond extract, vanilla, flour and melted chocolate.

  6. Stir in ¾ cup of sliced almonds.

  7. Pour chocolate mixture into the unbaked tart shell.

  8. Sprinkle reserved almonds over the top.

  9. Bake for 20 minutes or until the tart is puffed and beginning to crack.

  10. Cool on rack.
