Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.

  2. Grease and flour 2 bread loaf pans.

  3. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.

  4. Stir in nuts and cranberries.

  5. In a separate bowl, beat eggs to mix; beat in buttermilk and oil.

  6. Stir in orange rind.

  7. Pour liquids over dry ingredients and gently mix.

  8. Fill pans ½-¾ full.

  9. Bake for 1 hour.

  10. Cool loaves for 10-15 minutes.

  11. Remove from pans.

  12. Continue cooling on rack.

  13. While still slightly warm, top with orange glaze.
