Dutch Oven Sour Dough Bread

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, salt and yeast in a bowl.

  2. Add water and mix just enough so there is no loose flour in the bowl.

  3. Cover and set aside at room temperature for 12-18 hours.

  4. Spread ½ cup of flour on counter.

  5. Pour batter and work it till it forms a soft dough.

  6. Place on parchment paper and cover with plastic wrap and let raise for 30-35 minutes.

  7. Heat oven to 450 and heat dutch oven for 30 minutes.

  8. Place bread and parchment in dutch oven and bake for 30 minutes with lid on.

  9. After 30 minutes take off the lid and cook for 10 more minutes.
